Job summary

The Edwards Elementary-based Interventionist position within Nash County Public Schools is part-time and focuses on supporting students in identified areas of need through targeted instruction and progress monitoring.

You will work one-on-one or in small groups, delivering evidence-based interventions, analyzing data, and collaborating with classroom teachers to boost reading, math, and other subject areas.

Qualifications

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Work individually or in small groups to assess current levels of academic performance.
• Provide targeted instruction in reading/ELA, mathematics, science, social studies, or other identified areas based on student needs.
• Differentiate instruction and interventions to meet individual student needs.
• Develop lesson plans and analyze student performance data under supervision.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on data.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student achievement and reinforce classroom instruction.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Maintain instructional materials and equipment used to support student learning.
