Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Per Diem Staff Physician in Interventional Radiology to provide image-guided diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment across UM/JMH locations including Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, UHealth Tower Hospital, and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Responsibilities include interpreting IR imaging, performing procedures, evaluating patients pre- and post-intervention, supervising staff, and contributing to IR clinic follow-ups and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School.
• Florida Medical License or equivalent American Board of Radiology Certification.
• Completion of an ACGME approved Fellowship in Vascular Interventional.

Responsibilities

• Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform interventional procedures.
• Evaluate pre- and post-intervention patients.
• Supervise performance of technical personnel.
• Evaluate referrals and follow up patients in IR clinic.
• Provide emergency patient care as required in IR practice.
