Job summary

University of Miami's Interventional Radiology Department invites a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role supports imaging/IR services with bedside care, sedation, and peri-procedural management.

The position requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, with PALS preferred; a BSN is preferred but ASN with BSN progression is acceptable. Three years of nursing experience, especially PACU/ICU/ED, is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• ASN degree holders have 2 years to complete BSN.
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS required. PALS preferred but must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition using nursing process and document outcomes.
• Serve as liaison and educational resource for Imaging/IR Services.
• Provide nursing care during interventional procedures, sedation, pre/post care, and IR clinic.
• Administer chemotherapy as related to IR procedures.
• Participate in On Call rotations and Charge role as appropriate.
