Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center (Nwoesc) Napoleon Area City Schools in Napoleon, OH seeks an Intervention Specialist to develop differentiated learning experiences and travel to assignments within the NwOESC area. The role is part-time, 5–10 hours weekly, reporting to an administrator or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Holds required state department of education credentials.
• Minimum teaching degree required with special education credentials.
• Displays professionalism and ethical conduct in accordance with board policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of subject matter and pedagogy; organizes content and goals for student achievement.
• Collaborates with service providers to support unified classroom lessons.
• Differentiates instruction and prepares intervention materials for assigned students.
• Develops and implements lesson plans aligned with intervention goals.
• Documents and transmits legally compliant special education documents by deadlines.
• Attends IEP meetings and prepares IEP drafts and final versions.
• Maintains confidential records and communicates progress to parents/guardians.
