ASSE International Student Exchange Programs is seeking a Local Area Representative to support international students and host families in the Cheney, Washington area. As an ASSE Area Representative, you will engage in public relations, recruit host families, train participants, and facilitate social activities. Ideal candidates should enjoy working with teenagers, be at least 26 years old, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Enjoys working with teenagers from other countries.
• Has basic knowledge of personal computer and social media.
• Candidates must be at least 26 years of age and able to satisfactorily pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Become a P.R. person for ASSE in your community.
• Recruit and screen prospective host families and students.
• Lead host family and student orientations.
• Offer support and guidance to exchange students and host families throughout the exchange year.
• Plan and organize social and recreational activities for exchange students.
