Job summary

Medrina in Illinois is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our SNF-focused practice in Lake Zurich. This 1099 independent contractor role is part-time, 2-3 days per week, Monday through Friday with no weekend obligations, and offers competitive compensation.

The candidate will provide comprehensive care, manage adult and geriatric patients, document in EMR, and maintain strong clinical judgment. Illinois license, board eligibility/certification in Internal Medicine, and DEA license

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Illinois license
• Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine
• Active DEA license
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
