Job summary

Right At School in Port Orchard, WA seeks a Senior Program Manager to support field leadership across several in-school enrichment and childcare programs. You will influence operations, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability under the Area Manager's guidance.

This role covers programs in South Kitsap, Peninsula, Bremerton, and North Mason SDs, requiring staff coaching, safety oversight, recruitment, and strong school/parent relations to ensure successful program delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-age children in recreational programs or child care settings.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to Right At School program staff.
• Audit, coach, and train staff to ensure compliance with Right At School policies and licensing requirements.
• Support Area Manager in safety and security of children during programs.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding for new staff.
• Develop relationships with school administration, parents, and PTA organizations to ensure program success.
• Maintain staff schedules and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Coordinate educational marketing and district events as applicable.
• Review enrollment, timekeeping, and file data; take prescribed actions based on data.
• Report to Area Manager on program, site, and staff performance.
• Maintain accurate records and administer light first aid when necessary.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to support field leadership as they manage multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs. Through your support of an Area Manager, you will directly impact the operations, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability of that leader's programs.

This role supports programs in the South Kitsap, Peninsula, Bremerton, and North Mason School Districts.

Job Responsibilities

In support of, coordination with, and at the direction of the Area Manager, you may support multiple facets of the business including, but not limited to, the following:

• Provide coaching, guidance, and in-the-moment feedback to Right At School program team members.
• Audit, coach, and train staff to ensure compliance with all relevant Right At School, licensing, and district-specific processes, policies, and expectations.
• Support the Area Manager's established plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of children during the Right At School program.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding efforts for all newly hired team members
• When applicable, develop strong relationships with school administration, parents, and/or PTA organizations to ensure the successful delivery of all Right At School programs and ensure customer satisfaction with the program.
• Maintains team schedule and communicates changes with all relevant parties
• Coordinate & execute educational marketing and district events for assigned areas as applicable.
• Review and analyze electronic data such as enrollment information, timekeeping records, and file maintenance; taking prescribed actions based on the data found.
• Meets and reports regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site, and staff performance.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Administer light first aid when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Experience working with school-age children in a recreational program or child care center/education setting.
• Assertive and confident, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to:

• Make independent decisions on issues that do not require oversight.
• Prioritize critical tasks ahead of routine ones, as well as prioritize schedule demands with an appreciation and recognition of key, critical issues
• Multitask and meet deadlines and adapt smoothly to rapidly shifting work priorities and schedules.
• Travel up to 100% of the workday throughout assigned programs, spending up to 100% of the workday performing program duties in ratio.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds for 25% or less of the workday.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 25% or less of the workday.
• Stand, sit, walk, or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
• Talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason for 100% of the workday.
• Minimum of 12 college credits required. Bachelor or Associate degree preferred.
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
