Job description

Core Responsibilities

• Teach college‑level Women’s Studies courses, mainly WMST 113: Gender, Race, and Class, with additional courses as needed.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience and student advisement.
• Engage in recruitment activities and contribute to program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County and be available for day, evening, or weekend courses.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Women’s Studies or a closely aligned field from a regionally accredited college or university, with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught.
• Completion of the degree from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Women’s Studies or a closely aligned field from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least 1 year (two semesters) of teaching Women’s Studies courses at the college level.

Salary

$925.00 per credit hour. Courses/credits assigned may vary by semester.
