You will provide simulator‑based and ground school instruction in accordance with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and CAE operating procedures.Key responsibilities include:Deliver instructor‑led / Part 142 training to CAE customers.Provide ATP/CTP ground school and simulator training sessions on the E170/190 platform.Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings in line with CAE standards.Deliver simulator instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certifications.Ensure accurate, comprehensive completion of client training records and seamless handover to other instructors.Recommend remedial training when necessary.Record simulator usage and discrepancies following established procedures.Track and maintain personal instructional qualifications to remain compliant and current.Act as a subject matter expert in curriculum and courseware development when required.Accept and complete examiner‑related training as assigned by the Head of Training.Serve as an invigilator during examinationsMinimum QualificationsType rating on the E170/190 platform.Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate.At least 2 years of experience as part of an FAA Part 121 or 135 program.Ability and willingness to work night shifts as required.Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience.Successful completion of all Airline Transport Pilot License written exams.Meets minimum instructor qualification and experience requirements of the applicable Regulatory Authority.Working knowledge of relevant aviation regulations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong customer‑service orientation.Ability to concentrate and perform effectively in a fast‑paced training environment.Ability to adapt quickly to changes.Fluency in English.Preferred QualificationsExisting instructor qualification or rating issued by a Regulatory Authority.Qualification meeting requirements for Simulator Instructor designation.Additional A320 or B737 type rating is a plus.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
