Job summary

CAE in Dallas seeks an experienced Instructor Pilot to deliver flight simulator and ground school training, ensuring alignment with FAA and CAE standards. You will conduct thorough pre- and post-flight briefings and serve as a subject matter expert for client training and internal course development.

You will also maintain training records and qualifications, and provide instruction across aircraft types for licenses, ratings, and internal qualifications.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written.
• Unrestricted PIC Type Rating preferred.
• FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet‑based programs.
• Participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
• Experience flying business aircraft highly desired.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.
• Conduct professional, comprehensive pre‑and post‑flight simulator briefings.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Occasionally move into different positions, including confined spaces.
• Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods (standing or sitting).
• Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.
• Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 lbs.
• Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.

Minimum Qualifications
