Job Title: Part-Time Instructor (Nursing) – Location: Valdosta State University. Regular status; Part-Time appointment.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the instructor\'s area of expertise (nursing).
• Prepare lectures and instructional materials; lead class discussions; provide prompt responses to student questions.
• Give timely feedback on tests, quizzes, and assignments; follow Valdosta State University (VSU) policies and procedures related to teaching.
• Engage with students and staff; work on-campus or electronically as assigned; screen candidates for the role begins immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Master\'s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited university.
• Registered Nurse license in Georgia.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Teaching experience at the college level, both face-to-face and online.
• Ability to serve as a clinical instructor/preceptor in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
• Record of mentoring students.

Salary

Commensurate with experience.
