CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Biology through the Jump Start Program at a high school in the Clark County School District. The role covers college-level biology lectures and lab work, with emphasis on human concerns and organism biology, ecology and evolution to provide a modern societal perspective.

Courses fulfill the lab science GE requirement. The instructor will deliver lectures and labs, develop materials, assess student work, and maintain records in alignment with program

Qualificações

• Required: Pre-approval by the Department of Biological Science and the Dual Credit & Early College Programing; submission of resume, cover letter, and unofficial college transcripts (optional).
• Preferred: Biological science or an MS degree in Biology or a closely related discipline such as Zoology with research leading to a thesis or dissertation. Master of Arts or Master of Education degrees that do not involve research are typically not acceptable.

Overview

Jumpstart Salary: $1,000.00 per class per semester. Exempt: Yes. Full‑Time Equivalent: 48.8%.
