SUMMARY :
The Clinical Teaching Assistant conducts clinical supervision of Associate Degree Nursing students within various agencies by performing the following duties. The CTA is under the direct supervision of a FT ADN master’s prepared faculty member.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
MSN preferred. BSN required. A minimum of three years experience in the related field of professional nursing required. Hold a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas and have the clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in the designated area of supervision.
