An established industry player is seeking Part-Time Instructors for the fall 2025 semester. The Department of English invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for fall 2025. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach English courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of English. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online First-Year Composition (FYC)/Humanities/Creative Writing courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university. This is a non-permanent, temporary position.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in English or English Composition at time of application.
Candidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level and with background in Rhetoric and Composition are preferred.
