The Achieve Conquer Believe (ACB) Excel Program is an SF initiative that offers a two‑generational avenue for parents and children to engage in academic and social activities simultaneously.
The part‑time ACB Child Care Center Teacher will supervise elementary and middle school students in an afterschool‑type setting, assist with homework, plan enriching curriculum, and coordinate community guest visitors.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide supervision to school‑aged children.
- Assist with homework that children bring.
- Assist in planning and implementing a STEAM and career‑focused enriching curriculum.
- Assist in planning community guest visitors who provide enriching activities.
- Assist with children supervision during meal and/or snack times.
- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in a field appropriate to Early Childhood Education, with documented professional experience working with children.
- Criminal background check will be conducted.
Preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification.
