Prairie Wind Elementary in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Instructional Paraprofessional to support classroom teachers, reinforce learning, and monitor student progress.

The position runs 5.50 hours per day, Monday through Friday, starting January 2027 for the second semester, with pay at $17.50 per hour and eligibility for base benefits under the negotiated agreement.

Formación

• Associate degree or 48 semester hours or demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing and math via test.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach overhead.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in reinforcing learning for individuals or small groups as directed by certified staff.
• Model appropriate classroom behaviors and develop rapport with teachers.
• Assist with arrival/dismissal, lunch supervision, and monitoring student progress.
• Help with grading and checking homework as instructed by teachers.
• Monitor data and maintain records on student performance and progress.
• Support with educational technology and retrieve materials as needed.
