Job summary

Centennial School District ISD12 is seeking a General Education Paraprofessional at Centennial Elementary. The position is 2.5 hours per day, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, starting ASAP. Responsibilities include supporting lessons, supervising students, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or higher education credits, and a ParaPro/Paraeducator assessment score. Wages range $21.07–$22.63 per hour, with benefits such as pension and sick time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of college credits (60 credits) through an accredited institution; or an associate's degree or higher.
• Passing score on ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce daily lessons under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
• Actively supervise students during non‑academic times and enforce safety rules.
• Monitor corridors during arrival, dismissal, and transitions to maintain order.
• Help lead teacher prepare learning materials and organize supplies.
• Participate in required professional development, training, and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Paraprofessional may be assigned to other positions as determined by the district.

Education
