Job summary

Fresno City College is seeking a Temporary Instructional Assistant (Part-Time) to provide classroom and testing support across the campus. The role includes preparing materials, setting up media and equipment, and coordinating tests and accommodations for students in a fast-paced learning environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of instructional support experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and at least one year of responsible experience providing instructional or tutorial assistance to students.
• Knowledge of office practices and procedures including recordkeeping and use of standard office equipment.
• Ability to guide students and support instructors in a respectful, confidential manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors by preparing materials and setting up equipment.
• Schedule testing appointments and coordinate room use and accommodations.
• Proctor tests, score exams, and record results accurately.
• Train and supervise student aides and monitor timesheets.
• Promote equity and culturally responsive service in interactions with students.
