Job summary

Del Paso Manor is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 8:55 AM to 3:25 PM. This part-time role falls under the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule with a 6-hour workday and a 206-day calendar.

The successful candidate will assist teachers, work with groups of students, and support programs for learners with various needs. A CA Class C license may be required in some programs.

Qualifications

• IA II requires experience with groups of children.
• Willingness to obtain CA Class C Driver License within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in small groups and in large classes.
• Support students in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Follow teacher's instructions and prepare classroom materials.
