Job summary

San Juan Unified is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for Del Paso Manor (6 hours/day). The position is part-time, permanent, with a 6-hour workday from 8:55 AM to 3:25 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary range listed as $19.51 to $25.69 per hour under the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule, with benefits included. The IA II role involves supporting students in Resource/Learning Handicap/Communicatively Handicap programs, running small groups, and assisting in General Education settings.

Qualifications

• IA II requires experience with students in Resource/Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups, assist students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education, and support the teacher's needs.
• Support teachers' instructional and classroom needs during the day.
• Assist with classroom management and safety as directed.

Skills

Experience working with groups of kids

Valid CA Class C Driver License
