Job summary

Learning Grove is seeking a SAS Instructional Assistant to support school-age children in a safe, nurturing after-school environment.

You will supervise children Monday through Friday from about 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM, assist with structured activities, and help implement lesson plans aligned with state standards while maintaining organized spaces and professional relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Some post-secondary education and childcare experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Support learning through structured activities, creativity, and positive interactions.
• Implement lesson plans aligned with state learning standards.
• Maintain organized classrooms and complete assigned tasks and documentation.

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive relationships with families and staff.
• Participate in required training and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
