Job summary

Learning Grove in Edgewood, KY seeks an SAS Instructional Assistant to support school-age children Monday–Friday from about 1:20 PM to 6:00 PM. The role focuses on safety, structured activities, and positive interactions, aligning plans with state standards.

You will maintain organized classrooms, document tasks, and adhere to licensing and program requirements, while building positive relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Some post-secondary education and childcare experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Support learning through structured activities, creativity, and positive interactions.
• Implement lesson plans aligned with state learning standards.
