Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks an SAS Instructional Assistant to provide quality care and educational support for school-age children at Beechwood Elementary in Ft Mitchell, KY. This part-time position runs Monday through Friday from about 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM.

The role follows Learning Grove standards and state guidelines, with responsibilities including supervising children, assisting with lesson plans, maintaining a safe, organized classroom, and collaborating with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Some post-secondary education and childcare experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Support learning through structured activities, creativity, and positive interactions.
• Implement lesson plans aligned with state learning standards.
• Maintain organized classrooms and complete assigned tasks and documentation.
• Use positive guidance techniques to support children's development.
• Follow licensing, SUTQ/STARS, and Learning Grove requirements.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive relationships with families and staff.
• Participate in required training and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
