Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Lowell, MA is seeking a Recovery Specialist for a part-time 32-hour, 3rd shift position (Friday through Monday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM). This role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, delivering high-quality services, and supporting admissions and discharges.

You will facilitate client movement around the building, provide transportation as needed, and conduct alcohol and drug screens with respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in emergencies.
• Effective written and oral communication in diverse settings.
• Basic computer skills for entries and EHR use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment with high-quality services.
• Facilitate movement of clients safely within the facility.
• Provide transportation for clients and support program operations.
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens with respect and dignity.
• Assist with admissions and discharge procedures.
• Oversee housekeeping to keep units clean and orderly.
