Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Lowell, MA inpatient treatment program. The role requires supervising a safe environment, coordinating client movement, and supporting program operations in the CSS unit.

This full-time evening shift runs Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with competitive benefits and a focus on dignity in care. Responsibilities include conducting screenings, assisting admissions/discharges, and ensuring clean, orderly units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment at all times.
• Facilitate movement of clients safely around the building.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens with dignity and respect for clients.
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.
• Oversee housekeeping to keep units clean and orderly.
