Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, not required.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Ability to apply independent judgment in emergencies.
• Able to communicate in an interdisciplinary setting with clients and staff.
• Basic ability to use computers for entries and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment with focus on high-quality services and satisfaction.
• Facilitate movement of clients around the building in a safe, orderly manner.
• Provide transportation for clients and support program operations when needed.
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens with respect and dignity.
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.
• Oversee housekeeping and keep units clean and orderly.
