Job summary
Morrison Healthcare in El Paso, TX is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for inpatient care in a pediatric diabetes specialty.
You will work with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes, perform nutrition assessments, and develop care plans in alignment with nutrition guidelines and facility protocols.
Position offers hourly pay of $70–$80 with CEU opportunities and career development within Compass Group USA.
Qualifications
- RD credential and CDCES certification required.
- Experience in inpatient pediatric diabetes care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
- Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
