Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Assess inpatient pediatric diabetes admissions and develop individualized care plans.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle to patients, families, staff and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply current research aligned with the diet manual and facility protocols.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to initiatives to advance patient outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work with the food service management team to support patient satisfaction.
• Mentorship: Support dietetic interns through education and training.
