Job summary

ITW Medical is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to set up and operate molding machines, adjust molds, and ensure correct process parameters for each part. You will keep the workstation clean, minimize downtime and maintain quality parts from the process.

The role involves mold cleaning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with setup technicians. Training others and accurate record-keeping are essential, with emphasis on safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in plastic injection molding manufacturing preferred.
• Basic problem-solving and processing skills with automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines for each part with correct parameters.
• Adjust molds and ensure work area is clean; minimize downtime.
• Perform mold cleaning and routine maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot minor molding issues to prevent non-conformance.
• Operate molding machinery and support equipment; document changes.
• Train new and existing technicians to improve machine knowledge.
• Maintain inventory records for spare parts and ensure safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with plant leaders to pause molding if quality concerns arise.
