Job summary

ITW Medical, a division of ITW, is seeking a manufacturing technician for a rotating 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) to perform breakdown maintenance in molding and assembly areas. You will diagnose, repair, and document maintenance tasks, while supporting tooling changes and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have up to a 2-year technical degree or 3 years related experience, strong reading of schematics and operation sheets, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• This position requires up to a 2-year technical degree or 3 years related experience.
• Ability to read and follow operating instructions and manufacturing specs.
• Ability to read machine setup and operation sheets.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair parts to maximize equipment uptime in molding and assembly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding equipment and document activities.
• Execute tool and equipment changeovers as required.
• Improve operational efficiency by addressing issues before scrap or downtime.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and streamline processes.
• Participate in ITW Toolbox projects and safety initiatives.
