Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Part-Time Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse to join our Lisle, IL team. The RN will assist physicians, administer chemotherapy and related meds, initiate IVs, and monitor patients for adverse reactions in a collaborative, physician-led setting.

Oncology experience is preferred. Qualifications include an active RN license, CPR certification, and 2+ years of clinic nursing; chemotherapy biotherapy certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Chemotherapy biotherapy certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician to ensure high patient satisfaction and quality care.
• Administer medications to patients as directed by MD, including chemotherapy pre-meds and other meds.
• Initiate IVs via central venous devices or peripheral access; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Record treatments, dosages, routes, and patient teaching in the chart.
• Adhere to chemotherapy safety protocols and spill precautions; manage extravasation precautions.
