Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is seeking qualified RN Infusion applicants at levels I and II. The role supports patient care under licensed professionals, with responsibilities increasing at higher levels.

Infusion includes education, assessment, and administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV therapies. Requirements include graduation from an approved RN program, Texas RN license, BLS, and completion of the chemo-immunotherapy certificate within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN program.
• Completion of ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months RN experience or 1+ years KSC experience with approval.
• Experience with EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing knowledge to promote safety and comfort of patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide infusion care including education, nursing assessment, and administration of meds (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IV therapies).
• Assess physiological and psychosocial needs, implement nursing interventions, and communicate concerns to the healthcare team.
