Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks RN Infusion I/II in Houston to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an infusion setting.

Under licensed supervision, you will assess patients, administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV therapies, and coordinate with the care team. Requirements include Texas RN licensure, BLS, and chemotherapy certification; EMR experience and IV insertion are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN program.
• Completion of ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months of RN experience or 1+ year of KSC experience with approval from Nursing Director.
• Experience with EMRs.
• Computer proficiency.
• Proficiency in IV insertion.
• Proven clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing knowledge to promote safety and comfort per standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to educate and administer IV therapies.
• Assess needs, implement interventions, and relay concerns to the care team.
