Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of new infusion centers in Farragut Square, DC. This part-time RN/NP role (approximately 8 hours per week) focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth site launch.

Strong clinical judgment and IV therapy experience are valued. Responsibilities include coordinating care with referring providers, onboarding Medicare patients, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in DC/Maryland.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence based standards, and organizational policies
• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity
