Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2+ years related experience; or an Associate degree with 6+ years related experience.
• Valid California Community College Credential, or equivalency.
• Evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of diverse backgrounds of community‑college students.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned part‑time Information Systems courses.
• Use pedagogies and technology for face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid instruction.
• Communicate effectively with students and faculty.
• Apply curriculum outlines and teaching methods approved by the institution.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and other tools.
• Prepare and provide syllabi to students.
• Maintain classroom records per district policy.
• Submit grading and evaluation reports in a timely manner.
• Conduct teaching assignments in various instructional settings and times as needed.
• Fulfill duties outlined in Administrative Regulation 7122.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
