Job summary

The State of New Hampshire is seeking an Information Center Attendant I at the Sutton Welcome Center. This part-time position supports visitor services, promotes state attractions, and provides information to travelers.

Shift hours are variable, totaling 12 to 24 hours per week, with some weekend availability encouraged. Responsibilities include guiding visitors, distributing brochures, handling emergencies, and maintaining a clean facility.

• Delivers exceptional customer service and information to visitors to promote New Hampshire area attractions.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional customer service and information to visitors to promote New Hampshire area attractions, such as lodging, activities, dining and natural resources.
• Direct visitors to services as necessary by using brochures, websites and/or other resources for visitor’s area of interest.
• Assists travelers in highway and/or personal emergencies.
• Performs general interior and exterior grounds upkeep, including custodial duties and snow removal.
• Maintains inventory of brochures and travel literature; alerts supervisor when supplies are running low.
• Communicates and markets the State’s campaign throughout Welcome and Information Centers locations.
• Attends seminars and training to maintain knowledge of traveler information.
