Job summary

State of New Hampshire, Seabrook Welcome and Information Center, seeks an Information Center Attendant I to greet visitors, provide information on attractions, lodging, and dining, and promote the State’s sites. The role requires responsibility for cleanliness, inventory, and safety at the center.

Starting pay ranges from $14.40 to $18.46 per hour with a $1.20 shift differential. Training and on‑the‑job development are provided as part of a full‑time schedule Thursday through Monday, 4pm–12am.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 8th grade education.
• Ability to provide information and directions to visitors.
• Excellent customer service and communication with the public.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and information to visitors.
• Direct visitors to services using brochures, websites, and other resources.
• Perform custodial duties and snow removal to maintain a safe, clean facility.
• Maintain inventory of brochures and travel literature; notify supervisor when low.
• Support marketing by communicating statewide campaigns at Welcome Centers.
