Advocate Christ Medical Center – Administration is seeking an infection control nurse to perform surveillance, data collection, and CQI analysis in a part-time capacity (24 hours per week). The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and an active RN license in Illinois, with infection control certification within five years.

The incumbent will educate staff and the community on infection control, contribute to policy development, and support Occupational Health.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and RN license required.
• 5 years clinical experience in acute care or lab setting; infection control experience preferred.
• Certification in infection control within five years is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform infection surveillance using approved definitions and CQI methods.
• Enter and analyze infection data from multiple sources while complying with HIPAA.
• Provide infection control education to associates and community.
• Participate in committees and product evaluation related to infection control.
• Assist Occupational Health Center with infection control concerns as required.
