The Fund for Public Health in NYC seeks a Clinical Abstractor to support the IMAT project. This grant-funded, part-time role is based in Long Island City with a hybrid work arrangement and the option to work remotely for most tasks.

The Clinical Abstractor will review case data from OCME, perform clinical abstraction, and enter data into BMIRH's MS Access database while collaborating with the Medical Director and Deputy Director.

Competenze

• Experience handling highly sensitive personal health information with confidentiality.
• Active clinical license (RN, LPN, MD, DO, NP) in pediatrics or family medicine.

Mansioni

• Review OCME forms and abstract clinical data into the MS Access in-house database.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of data per DOHMH policies.
• Communicate with staff about data abstraction, queries, and technical issues.
• Prepare case summaries and narrative reports as requested.
• Support quality checks and implement requested changes.
• Attend IMAT meetings and assist the project team as needed.
