Job summary

Titan Security Group in Burns Harbor, IN is hiring a Part-Time Security Lieutenant for an industrial site. You will oversee gates, patrols, and staff, and you may fill in for the Site Manager when needed.

Qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience in criminal justice or related field, 2+ years of supervisory and industrial security experience, and ability to obtain a TWIC card. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Supervisor Experience and Industrial Security experience.
• Previous MARSEC and Industrial facility security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security gates, dock officers, patrol officers, and special details.
• Develop curriculum, run training/drills, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Fill in for the Site Manager (in their absence) or open Shift Security Captain positions.
• Trained to cover any position under their supervision.
• Provide detailed information on vehicle inspections.
• Document departmental pre-operational vehicle checks.
• Provide inventories for department and general inventories.
• Review traffic enforcement, including a summary of written tickets.
• Provide a summary of patrol activities.
• Conduct and report on an audit of building inspections.
• Provide a summary of active security systems and impairments.
• Outline a summary of safety concerns.
• Document a summary of training activities alongside a drill summary.
• Report a summary of gate paperwork discrepancies.
• Provide a summary of generated KPI reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
