Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with lead capacity in the absence of store management. You will help set plan-o-grams, provide outstanding customer service, and perform duties to maximize profitability and reduce losses.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness. Strong math, cash handling, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks according to store process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness of front end, stockroom and restrooms.
