Job summary

Acosta Group via Product Connections seeks an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations. This part-time role (up to 25 hours weekly) requires learning products, engaging consumers, and presenting features and benefits.

You will prepare food samples, maintain a clean workstation, and interact with store personnel to meet client objectives. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and possibly a local food handler permit.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with PC/mobile devices and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand/walk, use hands, reach, lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs occasional), prepare foods with appliances, clean work area.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Language Skills: English primary; bilingual may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude to gain knowledge of products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station with cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with client visits preparation and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company/client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per policy.
• Submit on-line requirements on the same day as events.
• Access internet and internal systems, including Outlook, Word and PDF forms.
