Job summary

Product Connections, part of the Acosta Group, is seeking an Associate to perform in-store demonstrations and engage shoppers with product knowledge. The role includes food sampling using small appliances and maintaining a clean workstation in a retail setting across the United States.

The position is part-time, not likely to exceed 25 hours per week, with expectations to complete online requirements the same day as events.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Communicate features and benefits of the product effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution and achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with client visits and audit corrections.
