Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in New Albany, IN 47150. You will perform in-store data collection by scanning barcodes using a mobile app, typically 4-6 hours per week across stores, with occasional 1-2 extra hours for projects.

Flexibility in hours and travel between local stores is expected. The role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and work independently with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers weekly, for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Complete Display Scanning and potential Custom Projects which may add 1–2 hours during peak weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and provide dependable, quality data to clients.
• Assist across various store types (grocery, convenience, drug, pet, mass merch) as needed.
