Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Indianapolis, IN to perform in-store data collections at local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes and collect product data across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise stores.

Availability of 6-8 hours per week on average, with additional hours for special projects. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and access to Wi-Fi.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection by scanning barcodes across locations weekly.
• Use a mobile scanning app to record product quantities.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store every week.
• Assist with Custom Projects that may add 1–2 hours per week per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines with dependable, quality-driven work.
• Travel to assigned store locations with own vehicle.
