ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Chelan, WA 98816. You will visit stores weekly to scan barcodes using a mobile app and contribute to data that improves product and retailer performance. Expect 4–6 hours per week with on-site work and paid travel at your hourly rate.

This role emphasizes independence, flexibility in scheduling, and steady work. Computer access and a reliable vehicle are required for ongoing, year-round data collection.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes.
• Use a downloaded app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store, week after week.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines to deliver data to clients.
• Travel is paid at your hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes).
