Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year. You’ll scan barcodes across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, using a mobile app on your phone.

You’ll be expected to complete store tasks within deadlines, with 4–6 hours of work weekly. A reliable vehicle and Wi-Fi are needed, along with basic high school education or GED.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app.
• Collect data to improve sales performance for product and retailer.
• Complete in-store scanning with attention to deadlines and quality.
• Work approximately 4–6 hours per week across multiple stores.
• Report to assigned stores within deadlines and perform end-of-aisle scanning as required.
• Participate in custom projects and handle additional product detail requests when needed.
