Job summary

ScanScape in Covelo, CA is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit stores weekly, scanning barcodes on displays and in-aisle locations. You will use a mobile app to collect data, supporting 52 weeks of data collection for various retailers.

The role offers independence, flexible hours, and ongoing data collection with 4–6 hours per week per store. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in multiple locations in assigned stores every week.
• Use a mobile app to collect data during in-store scans.
• Complete display scanning across the store weekly.
• Collaborate with retailers to support data collection 52 weeks a year.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain data quality.
• Be independent, dependable, and flexible to meet client needs.
