Job summary

ScanScape in Albemarle, NC is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit a designated selection of local stores each week, scanning barcodes with a mobile app. The data you collect helps improve product and retailer performance and informs client decisions.

This on-site role offers flexible hours, weekly work, and occasional extra projects. Pay is $16 per hour with paid travel at your hourly rate (minus 15 minutes each way).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and reach up to 6 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive movements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• Must be deadline-driven and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to capture product data and quantities.
• Complete store scans and assist with special projects as needed.
• Meet weekly deadlines and report results to clients.
• Paid travel is provided at your hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes).
