Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates in Santa Ana, CA to visit local retailers weekly, scan barcodes, and collect data used to assess product and store performance.

You will work with grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, using a mobile app to scan items. Typical weekly hours range from 9 to 15, with emphasis on reliability and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in stores using a mobile app to collect product data.
• Work with major retail partners across multiple store types (grocery, convenience, drug, pet, mass merchandise).
• Average weekly hours estimated between 9–15 across all stores.
• Perform display scanning and complete additional Custom Projects when required.
• Meet weekly deadlines with dependable, quality-driven performance.
